Green-hyperbolic operators - partial differential on globally hyperbolic spacetimes that (together with their formal duals) possess advanced and retarded Green play an important role in many areas of mathematical physics. Here, we study modifications by the addition a possibly nonlocal operator acting within compact subset $K$ spacetime, seek corresponding '$K$-nonlocal' generalised operators. Assuming modification depends holomorphically parameter, conditions are given under which $K$-nonlocal exist for all parameter values, possible exception discrete set. The exceptional points occur precisely where modified admits nontrivial smooth homogeneous solutions have past- or future-compact support.
